Middle and high schoolers participated in a successful two-part Changing Vibes, Changing Lives Youth Summit in May.

Part one of the advocacy training focused on ways to overcome depression and anxiety from isolation of COVID-19, increasing community engagement and using our voices to advocate for mental health.

Part two focused exploring youth perspectives on the LGBTQ+ community, using our voices to advocate for an environment of inclusion and safety, and increasing community engagement and making connections to local community resources.

Changing Vibes, Changing Lives (CVCL) is a youth-led leadership program for Martin County middle and high schoolers that empowers them to help make a positive difference in their community. Students receive service hours for their participation.
