At Tykes & Teens, we prioritize accessible, high-quality behavioral health services to help prevent tragedies. Our programs build a resilient community, helping children recover from trauma, improve self-esteem, and manage anxiety and depression. We passionately advocate for mental health awareness to eliminate stigma and shame.
Tykes & Teens provides affordable, quality behavioral health services to children on the Treasure Coast. We provide in-person services at our offices in Stuart, Jensen Beach, Hobe Sound and Port St. Lucie, and Vero Beach, as well as childcare centers, schools and in homes.
Our team includes passionate, highly experienced and mission-focused professionals from the communities we serve. Our counseling services are provided by master’s level or higher, licensed or license eligible, clinicians who receive ongoing training, support and supervision above and beyond what is required by licensure, accreditation and our evidenced-based programming.
Tykes & Teens is one of the largest providers of virtual telehealth services for children’s mental health on the Treasure Coast. Our therapists were the first to serve our clients when confronted with the COVID-19 pandemic in March of 2020. Our quick pivoting and introduction of virtual care was critical in effectively helping children and families throughout our community.
Tykes & Teens has earned a reputation for successful collaboration with community partners and other non-profit organizations, including working with more than 25 organizations and schools throughout the Treasure Coast. Our reputation for successful collaboration helps us leverage funding and support the most children in need. We are a trusted community partner with the Children Services Council in St. Lucie and Martin counties, South Florida Behavioral Health Network, Healthy Families Florida, Indian River County Hospital District, Children’s Services Advisory Committee, United Way throughout the Treasure Coast, Boys & Girls Clubs, John’s Island Community Service League, Grand Harbor Community Outreach Program, Mental Health Collaborative of Indian River, Mental Health Association, Cleveland Clinic, Community Foundation of Martin – St. Lucie County, Community Foundation of Indian River, Community Foundation of Palm Beach & Martin, Impact 100 in Martin and Indian River Counties, and more.
