Impact 100 St. Lucie and Tykes & Teens on WPSL Sue-Ellen Sanders Show
Thank you WPSL and the Sue-Ellen Sanders Show for highlighting the amazing work that Impact 100 St. Lucie is doing in our community!
Watch the episode with Impact 100 St. Lucie President Janet Maffucci and Tykes & Teens Development Officer Courtney Nientimp discussing how this group of philanthropic women are working together to improve the community, one transformational project at a time.
In April 2019, Tykes & Teens became the first nonprofit to win the Impact 100 St. Lucie award, giving us $100,000 to launch an outpatient office in St. Lucie County. Today, our services here include outpatient General Mental Health Counseling for children, Wraparound Targeted Case Management services for families, Infant Mental Health in homes, Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation in childcare settings, Trauma Informed Care Training in schools and other youth serving organizations, and a unique partnership called TRUST that provides training and ongoing support for staff of after-school programs to help them react and respond appropriately to children who have experienced trauma.
